Klara Trencsenyi

Klára Trencsényi is an award-winning freelance director and cinematographer committed to creative and social documentaries. She graduated from the Hungarian Film Academy in Budapest as Director of Photography in 2005. So far, she has directed a feature length and three mid-length documentaries. She has also worked in many international productions as cinematographer with Dutch, American and Hungarian directors. Her last feature documentary, Train to Adulthood won the Golden Dove at DOK Leipzig. She organized the first creative documentary development workshop in Budapest in 2010 and leads courses of documentary filmmaking at the Central European University, DocuArt Film Centre, Budapest Metropolitan University.
