Lekal Sumi, an Indigenous Amis filmmaker from Taiwan, he began their creative journey in 2013 with the completion of his first short documentary The Wish of the Sea Rice. Drawing deep inspiration from tribal culture, he has since produced acclaimed films and television works including Panay, ILISIN, Pakeriran , PUKPUK, and We Sing in Our Island. His works have been recognized at numerous domestic and international film festivals.
