After his studies at La Fémis (“Image” department, class of 1997), Rémi Mazet first worked as a cinematographer.
He devoted himself to his own projects from 2006 and since then directed several short films.

He devoted himself to his own projects from 2006 and since then directed several short films. Known for “Rumbu (2018)”, “Siggil (2010)” and “Punk à chien (2015)”.
Mazet’s debut short film “Siggil” won the 10th Manle Short Film Festival First Prize for Best Short Film. “I’m very happy, especially since I’m starting to direct now. This award has helped me believe in myself and have the confidence to move on. I want to do a feature film”.
