Lima 1978, Filmmaker and editor, his first short film, “Barrunto – 2004”, obtains the National Award at the Festival La Noche de los Cortos (Peru), was Official Selection at the LA Short Film Festival (USA), Antimatter Underground Film Festival (Canada), 17th Rencontres Cinémas d’Amérique Latine de Toulouse (France). Traveled to Madrid in 2004 to study a Master in Film Direction, and shoot «Zoomanidad», obtaining the CEU San Pablo First award, in addition to obtaining half a scholarship for the master’s degree. In 2010, the short film «The Second Awakening of Blindness» received the Award from the Busan International Short Film Festival (Korea); the Prize for Best Director of Casa De América (Spain); the Spanish Version of TVE Award (Spain); and the “Ciudad De Alcalá́» Award of the Xl Alcalá́ De Henares Film Festival “Alcine» (Spain), was selected in Berlinale (Germany), where it was the only Ibero-American short film in Official Competition in that year, having been selected from more than 6 thousand shorts from around the world. In 2016, he shot with an iPhone «Los Nadies» a documentary essay about working as elderly people, selected at specialized festivals in Portugal and Brazil. Also, the same year he writes and directs in Madrid «An Untitled Christmas Story», a short film about Sancho Panza. In 2019 made the experimental short film in s8mm & HD «2 Halves» that talks about the «wall of shame» that separates the city of Lima in social classes, selected in the Los Angeles Underground film forum. In 2020 he will premiere his opera prima «Samichay», a feature film, which received the Support for the Development of the Ibermedia Program in 2013, participated in the Incubator section of the Guanajuato International Film Festival in 2014 and participated in Panama Film Lab 2017 and MGR / WRK 2017 within the framework of the Margenes festival, Under construction FICVIÑA Viña del Mar Film Festival 2019 and Ventana Sur Buenos Aires Argentina 2019.
