Multi-award winning documentary filmmaker, Alain is a sociologist. In 2008 he entered the Ateliers Varan (Paris) and completed his self-training in audio-visual directing. In his films, he constantly shows fractures in Malagasy society through one point of view: that of the dignity of human beings.
